Your Role
Join us as an L&D Manager! Following a successful internal promotion, we're seeking a dynamic Learning & Development Manager. In this role, you'll develop and deliver a comprehensive L&D strategy for our business unit, ensuring alignment with company policies, procedures, and statutory requirements. Your mission will be to foster continuous professional development, equipping colleagues with the knowledge and skills they need to excel and reach their full potential within the organization. You will manage and evaluate training programs to maintain a motivated and skilled workforce.
Your Responsibilities
* Provide leadership to the L&D team, setting clear performance expectations and supporting direct reports in their development goals.
* Line management responsibility for L&D advisors/instructors, ensuring team support in HR matters in accordance with company policies.
* Oversee training and development programs, ensuring they incorporate the latest methods and meet business needs.
* Ensure employees are equipped with the necessary skills, knowledge, and motivation for their roles.
* Identify training needs through job analysis, appraisals, and consultations with managers and HR.
* Collaborate with QSHE Managers to support each area and ensure consistent QSHE activities.
* Recommend appropriate training methods based on training needs analysis.
* Understand and manage training requirements for MHE operations within the workplace.
Your Skills and Experiences
* Proven experience at a strategic level within Operational Learning & Development.
* Experience managing/delivering training for MHE equipment is desirable but not essential.
* Strong people management skills, with experience leading teams both on-site and remotely.
* Excellent communication, influencing, and presentation skills at a senior level.
* Experience developing high-quality training materials is advantageous.
