They are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team for a 12 month contract as Maternity Cover.This is a brilliant opportunity for someone to join a supportive team in a varied role. This role is based in the office 5 days a week, which will allow you to work closely with experienced accountants and give you exposure to the wider finance function.The role:- Support with month end duties such as:Cash allocation,Ledger updates,Bank reconciliationsRun and Issue invoicing statsBalance sheet reconciliationAccruals and prepaymentsCash flow forecast- Payroll duties include:Process overtime, advances, travel loansProcess new tax codes and any new student loansLiaise with HR to process starters/leaver and changesRun reports as and when necessaryThe person:Experience carrying out month end dutiesExperience in supporting with payroll responsibilitiesStrong communication skills both written and verbal
