Security officer

A vacancy has arisen for the position of Security/Customer Service Officer within Multrees Walk, Edinburgh's luxury shopping destination. The successful applicant should be flexible, enthusiastic, and preferably have experience in the security industry. Applicants must possess and valid SIA DS/SG licence and a CCTV licence would be ideal. Customer Service is paramount at Multrees Walk, strong communication skills are essential.

40.75 hour contract

Pay rate currently £13.40 rising to £13.80 per hour in April.

Duties will include Providing Customer Service to all members of the public and tenants * Patrolling internal and external areas of the development

* Carrying out daily checks of the premises

* CCTV monitoring (by suitably trained person, SIA badge)

* Ensuring that all site paperwork is up to date

*Carrying out weekly fire/sprinkler testing

Shifts include:

Days, nights, backshift - a minimum of 36 hours per week

Overtime and holiday cover may be required.

Christmas bonus (discretionary/performance based)
