We're expanding our Aquatics Team and are looking for enthusiastic, motivated, and customerfocused Swimming Instructors to deliver highquality swimming lessons across our Sport & Fitness facilities. Whether you are a newly qualified Level 1 Swimming Instructor or an experienced Level 2 Instructor, we want to hear from you
What You'll Do
Depending on your qualification (Level 1 or 2), you will:
Deliver or support the delivery of engaging swimming lessons aligned to the Swim Wales Learn to Swim framework.
Teach participants of all ages and abilities, supporting them to achieve their full potential and develop confidence in the water.
Demonstrate good technique, correct faults, and encourage progression using fun, safe, and inclusive teaching methods.
Maintain high standards of safety, ensuring equipment is used correctly and safeguarding practices are followed at all times.
Create a positive, enjoyable environment where swimmers feel supported and motivated.
Work collaboratively with Swimming Coordinators, Supervisors, Lifeguards, and the wider aquatic team.
Keep registers and learner progress up to date (including on GoLearn, where applicable for Level 2).
Provide excellent customer service to swimmers and parents, promoting a welcoming culture throughout all sessions.
What We're Looking For
You must have:
Swim Wales/ Swim England/UKCC Level 1 or Level 2 Teaching Aquatics qualification.
A passion for helping people learn and develop new skills.
Strong communication abilities and a friendly, positive approach.
Commitment to providing safe, highquality and inclusive teaching.
Basic digital skills and the ability to complete documentation accurately.
