Setting specific goals and expectations to individual children
Delivering accurate feedback to other education professionals and parents
Using areas of the school, such as sensory rooms, to regulate behaviours and emotions
Fantastic knowledge of SEND and the ability to be flexible with different needs
A nurturing, caring demeanour is essential when building trust with students
Able to set, and enforce, clear and consistent boundaries with pupils
Knowledge of safeguarding, and the willingness to undertake further training
