Your new role

2. As a key part of this role, you will implement health and safety policies and practices across the business whilst also providing advice and support to managers and employees on all SHEQ matters.
3. This role gives you hands-on experience, as you will participate in site inspections, audits, risk assessments and incident investigations to ensure policies and regulations are followed and identified actions arepleted.
4. You will take a dynamic, personal, and nurtured approach in building ongoing relationships and having discussions across the organisation on SHEQ policies, practices, and performance.
5. In addition, you will get the chance to shape the way we do things by driving continuous improvements and leading exciting initiatives, all with the goal of fostering our safety culture.
6. You will collaborate with others to share learnings and best practices, as well as actively participate in initiatives to improve our overall SHEQ performance.
7. This role will keep you up to date with relevant legislation and the industry as well as have the chance to network internally and externally as you represent SHEQ on behalf of thepany.
8. And lastly, this role gives you the opportunity to learn from others, meet diverse teams and experience a variety of work environments.
What you'll need to succeed
9. You have experience within an operational, engineering or SHEQ role with an understanding of an operational and safety environment.
10. If you already have a level 3 NEBOSH National General Certificate, that would be an advantage. However, this is something we can sponsor, but we’d like a willingness to want to work towards this.
11. You have excellentmunication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach and the ability to influence at all levels both internally and externally.
12. In addition, you have or are willing to learn about quality control processes so that we can ensure our products and services are to expectations and standards.
13. You demonstrate the highest level of safety ownership and lead the way in driving a safe and inclusive culture.
