About The Role Motability Operations are currently recruiting for a MI Analyst to join our team in Bristol on a full-time, permanent basis. We are looking for an experienced MI Analyst to provide management information (MI) and insights to support Vehicle Remarketing (VRM) with improving performance against key metrics.
This role will build a strong understanding of the reporting needs of individual areas within VRM and provide engaging self service solutions through Oracle Analytics (OAS). They will consistently monitor performance and proactively search for opportunities for improvement.
Key responsibilities:
1. Support operational managers within VRM to drive efficiencies and improvements against key metrics
2. Provide self service solutions to empower business partners with visibility of key performance drivers.
3. Work closely with business partners to identify opportunities and risk; build reporting tools that provide effective controls.
4. Take a pragmatic approach to solving problems while delivering business requirements. Constantly search for opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency.
5. Consistently check and monitor the quality of reporting, flagging up any issues with the underlying data to ensure our data customers are aware and that the issues are resolved.
6. Support our initiative framework within VRM to provide a view of potential and realised benefits of all initiatives and trials within Commercial Operations
7. Aid senior management with initiative prioritisation and articulate capacity constraints
8. Provide a governance framework across VRM to ensure data quality remains at a high standard and providing management visibility of potential detriment
9. Work closely with team leads, managers, data scientists, delivery managers, scrum masters and other stakeholders on technical delivery for our customers
10. Take responsibility for the identification and mitigation of technical risks
11. Provide an effective communication bridge between the business and programme/MI stakeholders
About You You have prior experience in an MI Analyst role utilizing Oracle Analytics tools, or a similar data visualisation software. You have experience working with a range of stakeholders to identify their unique requirements and provide tangible MI solutions and insight. You should be comfortable dealing with large data sets and working collaboratively as a team. Minimum criteria:
12. Experience with the following in OAS or similar DV software:
13. Broad MI skillset including VBA, Macros along with experience using SQL to drive insight and reporting outcomes
14. Strong analytical skills, both qualitative and quantitative
15. Experience providing self service solutions
16. Ability to communicate with clarity and confidence in dealing with all levels of staff and external partners
17. Ability to make recommendations and take decisions
18. Good team player who actively looks to share best practice in an area that embraces new technology
19. Self-starter with initiative and enthusiasm
20. Ability to work unsupervised and to manage a varied workload efficiently and pro-actively
21. Be highly customer focused with ability to work collaboratively
22. Excellent communication and relationship building skills
23. Highly organised and able to prioritise and to manage own workload
