Handyperson – Park Hall Stoke-on-Trent Care Home

Full-time | 35 hours per week | £12.60 per hour

Do you take pride in fixing things, keeping buildings safe, and making sure everything runs smoothly? We are looking for a practical, reliable, and motivated Handyperson to join our dedicated team at Park Hall, Stoke-on-Trent.

This is a vital role within our home – you’ll ensure our residents live in a safe, well-maintained, and comfortable environment. From routine repairs and preventative maintenance to keeping our grounds tidy and welcoming, your work will make a real difference every day.

What you’ll be doing

1. Carrying out general repairs and maintenance across the home and gardens.
2. Ensuring equipment and facilities are safe, well-presented, and fully operational.
3. Working closely with the Home Manager and staff to meet compliance and health & safety standards.
4. Responding promptly to maintenance requests and taking a proactive approach to problem-solving.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

5. Skilled in basic maintenance, DIY, and repair work.
6. Organised, self-motivated, and able to manage their own workload.
7. Safety-conscious with an eye for detail.
8. Friendly, approachable, and happy to work in a care home environment.

Park Hall in Stoke-on-Trent is home to well trained and helpful staff with rooms for up to 60 residents.
