We are looking for a full time Finance Assistant to support the team across all key areas of the finance function. The role would be varied covering bank reconciliations, Balance Sheet reconciliations, VAT processing, payroll and timesheet review, CIS processing and other various duties as required by the Management Accountant and Financial Controller. Ideally you will have at least 2 years’ experience working within a finance assistant role. You will need experience in Microsoft Excel and have experience of accounting software (AccountsIQ/Xero/Sage or equivalent ). [Study support will be offered as part of the role]. Responsibilities include: Daily bank reconciliations Quarterly VAT returns and reconciliations Monthly CIS returns Monthly reconciliation of Balance Sheet Nominal Accounts Analysis of Profit and Loss accounts for monthly reporting pack Monthly review of engineer timesheets and payroll to ensure accurately recorded Assisting the Management Accountant with the annual audit pack Other duties as required by the management accountant.
