A Primary school in Hartlepool are looking for an enthusiastic, hard working and experienced EYFS Teacher (reception) for full time cover. The school has a brilliant reputation and a fantastic team of educators. Their ideal candidate should have the following:
A UK recognised teaching qualification or an ECT
Experience teaching in an Early Years Environment
A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and curriculum
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Enthusiastic and a passion for children’s development
A valid DBS
The school would ideally prefer the candidate to have experience working as an EYFS teacher in a school setting; however, this is not essential. The candidate must have a strong knowledge and understanding of the curriculum with a desire to inspire young minds.
Responsibilities of the role
Planning and delivering lessons tailored to the developmental needs of children aged 0-5 years
Creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment that supports children’s development.
Observing and assessing children’s progress regularly and maintaining accurate records.
Developing and implementing the EYFS curriculum, including areas like communication, physical development, personal, social, and emotional development.
Promoting positive behaviour and managing classroom dynamics effectively.
Supporting children’s social skills, emotional wellbeing, and independence.
Engaging with parents and carers, providing regular updates and involving them in their child’s learning journey.
