Across our business our estates cover over 53,000 acres, you’ll help to ensure we are making best use of this land asset through the delivery of our range of business objectives.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the internal land governance process and approvals for land interests requiring stakeholder sign-off and submit papers to relevant portfolio boards.
* Support the development of the approval framework with the goal of embedding a best value-to-use assessment process and the management of land interests across the Severn Trent/HD estate.
* Ensure we remain compliant with our approaches to land use allocation and understand the long-term impact from a regulatory viewpoint as well as Severn Trent’s internal governance processes.
* Develop an understanding of the key business strategies that impact land use choices and adapt or develop processes to support governance.
* Build relationships with key stakeholders involved in the governance process and add value to the process as your experience and knowledge grow.

Location, hours and requirements
You’ll be based at our Head Office in Coventry. You’ll work within our Land and Planning Team. With this being such a critical role, we’re looking for someone who can join us 37 hours a week; WFH flexibility available and travel to other sites will be required at times, so you’ll need to hold a full UK driving licence.

* Salary starting from £45,945
