Quantity Surveyor – West Midlands

GEDON Executive is proud to be working with a small, highly regarded Cost Consultancy based in the West Midlands, supporting their search for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. This firm is known for its hands-on, personal approach and long-term relationships with repeat clients across the industrial, logistics, warehousing, and retail sectors .
About the Role
You’ll take ownership of a range of new-build and refurbishment schemes from early-stage cost planning through to final account. With a tight-knit team and a strong pipeline of work, this is an ideal opportunity for a QS who enjoys variety, autonomy, and direct client engagement.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide full pre- and post-contract quantity surveying services
* Prepare cost plans, estimates, tender documents, and valuations
* Manage budgets, variations, and change control throughout project lifecycle
* Conduct site visits and liaise closely with contractors and project teams
* Deliver high-quality commercial advice to ensure best value for clients
Requirements
* 4+ years’ experience in a consultancy or client-side QS role
* Strong understanding of cost management in the industrial or retail sector
* Comfortable working across multiple projects at different stages
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Based in or around the West Midlands
