IDT is creating trusted identities for IoT applications through Smart Components and Enabling Services.

As our Field Application Engineer, you’ll support HID’s success by:
* Representing the company as a low-level technical expert for EAT-RFID products
* Providing low-level support for partner integration for embedded products
* Providing low-level technical support for escalated field issues
* Preparing low-level documentation for application notes and technical papers
* Preparing and present low-level technical training to partners and internal staff
* Providing on-site partner support and training
Your Experience and Background include:
* 4+ years of experience in field application engineering, technical sales, or a related role
* University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
* Strong problem solving and analytical skills
* Strong verbal and written communication abilities (English)
* Able to explain complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences
* Customer-focused attitude with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
* Ability to work independently with multiple priorities and adapt to dynamic environments
* Willingness to travel internationally as required by the role
Preferred Qualifications:
* Knowledge of physical access control and the security industry
* Familiarity with Security/Cryptography concepts
* Knowledge of contactless RFID credentials and readers
* Experience with hardware and software development tools
* Familiarity with system integration and testing procedures
* Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., C/C++, Python)
* EMEA and APAC regional experience
* Project management experience
