Salary: £31,247 Location: Central London Hours: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week (shift pattern between 8:00am–6:00pm) Anabas is a dynamic, national Facilities Management company specialising in delivering exceptional workplace experiences for corporate office environments. We are currently seeking an experienced Receptionist to join one of our prestigious client sites in Central London. This is a front-of-house role where you will be the first point of contact, responsible for creating a professional, welcoming, and seamless experience for all visitors and employees. You will take pride in delivering a consistently high standard of service and have a strong understanding of what it takes to meet and exceed client expectations in a fast-paced corporate setting. Key Responsibilities Provide a warm, professional welcome to all visitors, ensuring a positive first impression Manage the visitor journey, including sign-in processes and host notifications Handle incoming calls efficiently and courteously, following site procedures Coordinate meeting room bookings and hospitality requests Liaise closely with catering teams to ensure high-quality delivery of events and services Prepare and maintain meeting rooms, ensuring they are fully set up and ready for use Respond to employee enquiries promptly and professionally Manage shared mailboxes, ensuring timely and accurate responses Maintain a clean, organised, and professional reception area at all times Manage lost property in line with site procedures Report maintenance issues via the CAFM system Work collaboratively with on-site teams, promoting a “See it, Own it, Fix it” approach Support wider team activities and carry out additional duties as required Compliance & Standards Follow all Health & Safety procedures, taking responsibility for your own safety and others Work in line with Equality & Diversity policies, promoting an inclusive environment Adhere to all company policies and operational procedures Represent Anabas and the client with professionalism at all times About You Previous experience as a Receptionist in a corporate environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Highly organised with strong attention to detail Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Professional, approachable, and client-focused A proactive team player with a positive attitude Benefits 28 days holiday (including Bank Holidays) Employee Assistance Programme Recognition and reward scheme Life assurance (1x annual salary) Cycle to Work scheme Refer-a-friend scheme Company events Ongoing training and development opportunities Sound like the job for you?
