Our Shift Leader rate of pay starts from £14.76 an hour; this increases to £15.97 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
It's our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week. If you'd prefer to work fewer hours (minimum 12), we have options for this too. We will schedule your shifts within your available times, with 3 weeks' notice.
Customers are at the heart of everything we do. As a Shift Leader, you'll support store operations, help customers, and lead a team to ensure smooth store performance. You'll face interesting challenges daily, overseeing the store from the shop floor, and striving to improve for customers, colleagues, and communities.
Responsibilities include:
* Work in a fast-paced retail environment with variety
* Manage duty shifts and coordinate team to maintain a clean, stocked store
* Assist customers and ensure excellent service
* Coach colleagues and provide feedback
* Support store safety and operational standards
* Monitor store performance and support improvements
* Lead by example and support team development
Requirements:
