The Company: An industry leader supporting the healthcare sector in delivering workshops, e-learnings, appraisals within the NHS, Primary & Secondary Care Sector and Independent Sectors. All training provided are non-clinical, this means they are focused on supporting clinical practitioners, GP practices etc on their wellbeing, coping mechanisms, supported on their Audits to ensure they are CQC compliant and reflection on their best practises.
Due to growth, we are looking for a Healthcare Learning Business Development Director to join on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a fully remote role with some travel expectations as & when required. You will also be required to go into the office once a month, based in Reading. Due to this being a brand-new role, there is no set commission structure & no company car / car allowance due to being a remote role. However, all travel expenses will be paid. This can be discussed in the interview.
The Role: There are no direct reports in this role, purely sales. As Healthcare Learning Business Development Director, you will be required to generate new businesses and there will be some account management, but the split is to be determined. You will need to have either 100% NB experience or mix of Account Management & New Business sales experience.

Responsibilities:
7. Travel to Reading office once a month.
8. Client visits are expected, managing your own diary is essential - you will be liaising with the Admin Ops team in booking meetings.
9. Drive growth by identifying new customer opportunities within healthcare sector.
10. Draft and negotiate business proposals and contracts with a high degree of commercial acumen.
11. Lead the strategic development of healthcare and engagement learning offer, aligning with organisational goals and market demand.
12. Identify long-term growth opportunities, partnerships, and innovations that will position the company as a trusted thought leader within the healthcare sector.
13. Build and nurture relationships with senior stakeholders, including NHS leaders, Integrated Care System (ICSs), and other sector influencers.
14. Monitor external policy developments, NHS reforms and sector trends to inform business planning and anticipate market shifts.
15. Work in partnership with operational teams to ensure the effective delivery of projects and services to healthcare clients.
16. Provide senior-level reporting on pipeline development, client engagement and strategic outcomes to the executive leadership team.
Requirements:
17. B2B sales experience selling into NHS is a must or knowledge of e.g. Public Sector including NHS.
18. Advantage if you come from a Training or Education Sales background.
19. Any type of Medical Equipment sold into the NHS.
20. Primary / Secondary Care experience.

Salary & Benefits Package:
23. Starting salary between £70,000 and £85,000. Dependent on Experience
