We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Supplies People team at Greggs as an Interim Supplies People Advisor to cover maternity leave.

About the role

11. This is an interim role for 9-12 months and is for 24 hours each week.
12. We know that having a work-life balance is important, so we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible in line with the needs of their role
13. This is a hybrid role and will require a mixture of home working and working from our Gosforth supply site, offering support to sites across the country.

What you'll do

14. To provide first line people advice to supply chain line managers either face to face or virtually via Microsoft Teams
15. To ensure effective and consistent implementation of People Polices
16. To support the Supplies People Manager at your supply sites in employee engagement and encourage fair and impartial employee relations on a variety of different people issues
17. To highlight any areas of non-compliance and provide assistance to rectify these within appropriate timescales
18. Ensures data is processed accurately and people systems and records are kept up to date.
19. To deliver effective, timely and confidential support on all employee well-being issues

About you

You will fit right into this role if you:

20. Previous experience in a HR Advisory and People administration role is essential
21. Ability to deal with confidential information and maintain GDPR best practise
22. Fully conversant with Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word and Teams
23. Have proven high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
24. Have experience of, and the ability to multi-task and work with multiple priorities calmly and at pace
25. Have Strong skills in planning, prioritising, and organising & excellent written and verbal communication skills
26. Are self-motivated and able to work autonomously using your own initiative
27. Enjoy being part of a hard-working but remote team, sharing the same end goal, and celebrating results together
28. Are supportive of an inclusive culture – recognising and valuing that difference is good
29. Flexibility in working hours as there will be occasions where early mornings or evenings are required
30. Want to develop and are ready to work alongside some great people and have lots of fun on your Greggs journey!
