Millennium Gloucester Hotel London Kensington is seeking a Food & Beverage Manager who will be responsible for leading the team in delivering maximum productivity, customer experience, with great financial performance, looking for opportunities to upsell and maximise revenue.
The Food & Beverage Manager Key Responsibilities will include:
Preventative Maintenance to ensure that the F&B Outlets are in excellent condition at all times.
To ensure that all the Function Rooms are set up according to Event Order and the Millennium Meeting Standards.
To ensure that all outlets staffing is planned and managed accordingly to forecast and in house breakfast numbers.
To meet up with event host before and to continue to meet the needs of the guest. throughout the event, in order to build good rapport and to install confidence for future and repeat business.
To be able to liaise with and communication with other Department Heads and staff. including the sales team, front office, group reservations, accounts and food and beverage outlets.
To ensure effective rostering and costs are kept in line with improvements.
To attend the weekly Function Sheet Meeting to review the forthcoming weeks activity related to the events.
The Experience & Qualifications for Food & Beverage Manager :
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent written/verbal communication and the ability to communicate across all levels of an organization.
Confident individual who is adept in prioritising and managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
Ability to take the initiative and deal with unexpected situations and last minute changes.
Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential data.
The successful candidate will be:
Enthusiastic, self-motivated, proactive, resourceful with excellent attention to detail
Demonstrate excellent presentation, negotiation and communication skills with the customers and other hotel departments
Team worker
Ability to work under pressure in a fast pace environment
