Purchasing Manager
Opportunity to join an established, stable, market leading manufacturing business and contribute to their on-going success through strategic purchasing initiatives.
What you’ll be doing:
* Analyse demand and production plans to ensure availability of materials and components in a fast-paced, multi-stage manufacturing process
* Management of supplier relationships
* Working with on-site management team to ensure materials inventory meets near term and projected demand
* Planning, running and managing MRP
* Manage small procurement team
* Occasional overseas travel to suppliers
What you’ll bring to the role:
* Proven ability to analyse highly variable production and demand data and turn into a reliable materials and inventory supply plan
* Extensive MRP management experience, preferably from a multi-product manufacturing environment
* Ability to manage and build relationships with overseas suppliers in Far East
* Excellent internal and external stakeholder management skills
* Able to travel occasionally overseas
* Excellent IT skills including MS Excel
