Job Description
Working in the field, under the supervision of theField Service Coordinator,the Clinical Support Engineeris responsible forinstallation, maintenance, servicing,support,andtesting of theneuro|matestereotactic robot and associated products.This individual willbe requiredto provide in-person support during neurosurgical procedures, as required by our customer base.Up to75% domestic and international (Canada) travel isrequiredfor this role.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
1. Conductregularlyscheduled preventative maintenance services acrosscurrentinstall base, exercising applied metrology calibration practiceswhilecompleting detailed service records for submittal to Quality Management System.
2. Provide remote and in-person technical support for surgical teams usingRenishaw products duringstereotacticneurosurgeryprocedures.
3. Coordinateand conduct site evaluation visits at a highly professional level with prospective customers.
4. Install newneuro|matesystems and software at customer sitesandprovideonsite corrective action/troubleshooting.
5. Provide in-service training to customersonthe operation and care of RHI productswhile givingproduct feedback and input to R&D.
6. Provide accurate and regular business expense reportsand perform other required administrative duties.
7. Work closely with theRHI teamto coordinate the necessary technical support and preventative maintenance visits to theneuro|matesystems across North America.
8. Communicate with current and prospective customers on a highly professional level to understand their needs and requirements, as well as provide customer support.
9. Activelyengageintheneurological science community to further developanunderstanding ofRenishaw’svarious robotic applicationsand offertechnical support at marketing events.
10. Other duties as assigned or requested.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
11. Bachelor ofEngineering,Mechatronics,Biomedical EngineeringorNeurologicalSciencesdiscipline,or equivalent experience.
12. Demonstrated understanding of electronic and mechanical principles.
13. This position may require the useof,and accessto,ITAR controlleddata. The applicant must demonstrate eligibility to use and access suchITAR controlleddata. The purpose of this requirement is to ensure compliance with U.S. export control laws.
14. Nocriminal record/history, asevidencedby aclearedbackground check.
15. Suitable immunization history toqualifybeingin an operating room.
Education and Experience:
16. Ability to confidently educate and train users on technical applications.
17. Experience working in ahighlyregulatedenvironment.
18. Familiarity with software installation and troubleshooting.
19. Understanding of GD&T
(Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
20. Experience inOperating room environment or clinical setting.

Compensation Range (Annual)
34. $70,000 to $80,000 (depending on level and location)
