Overview
We're looking for an Experienced HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter to join our friendly team in our Broadstairs Depot.
The successful candidate will help maintain and service our fleet of Commercial and Heavy Goods vehicles to enable our Demolition works across the UK.
If you have HGV mechanical experience in a HGV Fitter role, then this is the perfect opportunity to join this family run business with our 60 years of Demolition industry experience.
Responsibilities
* Servicing, repair and Maintenance of HGVs
* Completion of Job Sheets and Company Documentation
* Preparing and presenting vehicles for MOT
* Liaising with the Service Department and Parts Department
Experience
* Have experience servicing, diagnosing and repairing vehicle faults and maintaining HGV's
* Provide your own personal tools to perform your duties
* Be able to prepare and present vehicles to an MOT standard
* Have the ability to use and operate the workshop equipment
* Have the ability to mechanically diagnose faults
* Be punctual/reliable and be able to work in a professional/responsible manner.
* Hold a Valid Class 1 Licence (desirable but not essential)

* Working hours are Mon-Fri (5 days a week) with occasional Saturdays as the job requires
* 40 hours basic plus overtime at an enhanced rate of pay
* On the rare occasion that travel to a site is required - additional payments to subsidise accommodation/driving if criteria is met
