Finance & Operations Director
Hybrid working: 3 days at home 2 days in office or meetings
Our client is looking for a senior finance leader to join a national membership body. A strong fit for a qualified accountant with broad corporate services oversight and confidence operating at Board level.
Key Focus Areas
Financial Leadership
* Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and audit across the group.
* Ensure financial sustainability, commercial discipline and effective revenue monitoring.
* Oversee investments, reserves strategy, risk management, KPIs and management information.
* Maintain compliant, efficient company structures, contracts and financial controls.
Operations & Corporate Strategy
* Drive operational planning and cross‑directorate coordination.
* Support strategic planning and new business initiatives.
* Lead organisational performance, cultural change and stakeholder engagement.
* Ensure robust due diligence and compliance across all trading activities.
Corporate Services Oversight
* Oversee HR, EDI, governance, membership support, business continuity and property strategy.
* Act as Company Secretary and Data Protection Officer, ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance.
* Lead contract management, supplier performance and service delivery.
Ideal Background
* Fully qualified accountant with strong commercial and strategic acumen.
* Proven experience leading finance and corporate services in a similar‑sized organisation.
* Confident operating at Board level and influencing senior stakeholders.
* Strong change management, analytical and organisational capability.
