MLC Partners is delighted to be working with a prestigious Russell Group university to appoint an Interim Student Support Administrator.
This role will form part of a student-facing team dedicated to administering scholarships, bursaries, and hardship funds. It is a hybrid position requiring two days on-site (Tuesdays fixed, plus one additional day of your choice, with a third optional). The role will usually be based in South Kensington, with a temporary relocation to White City during September.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver a high standard of service as the first point of contact for student queries via phone and email (CRM).
* Manage the allocation and tracking of Student Support Fund (hardship fund) applications, ensuring timely referral to the appropriate assessors.
* Coordinate administrative processes linked to scholarships, bursaries, and wider student financial support.
* Distribute incoming enquiries efficiently across a team of 10 colleagues to ensure prompt resolution.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation, upholding compliance and attention to detail in all tasks.
* Support the wider team by assisting with ad hoc administrative duties as required.
Person Specification
* Higher Education experience is desirable. An understanding of the student life cycle would be advantageous.
* Intermediate level Excel skills (confident user, ideally including functions such as VLOOKUP) alongside strong skills in Outlook and Word.
* Friendly, approachable, and committed to delivering outstanding customer service.
* Proactive and collaborative, with the ability to support team members and managers effectively.
* Adaptable and flexible team player who thrives in a student-centered environment.
