We are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Porter to join our team at one of our workplace restaurants in Wiltshire SN13 9NP.
This is zero hour contract, working as needed between 7am and 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.

A Kitchen Porter plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment, supporting chefs with basic food preparation and ensuring high standards of hygiene and organisation. Responsibilities include washing and properly storing crockery, cutlery, and kitchen equipment, keeping work areas, counters, and floors clean and tidy, managing waste and recycling, and assisting with deliveries and stock rotation. The role also involves maintaining front-of-house cleanliness, ensuring items are well stocked, and providing courteous assistance to customers when needed. This physically demanding position requires strong attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work efficiently to prevent backlogs and support smooth kitchen operations.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
1. Have experience working in a similar role and environment
2. Be highly organised and comfortable working in a high-pressured environment
3. Ensure you have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
4. Keep up standards of hygiene and ensure all areas are clean and tidy
5. Have excellent customer service and social skills
6. Be responsible for the preparation and serving of food to staff
7. Have a can do attitude and will work well as part of a team of 5
8. Be customer focused
9. Have basic food knowledge
10. Be willing to participate and enjoy working part of the team
