Overview
Cluster Sales Manager, Malmaison & Hotel Du Vin — Competitive Salary, Full Time Hours, Permanent Contract — Birmingham.
Responsibilities
* Drive the Hotels Sales and Marketing plan for Malmaison & Hotel Du Vin properties, maximizing revenue across the brands.
* Report into the General Managers and the National Sales Director; ensure both brands are represented while actively seeking new opportunities and cross‑selling all hotels within Malmaison / Hotel Du Vin.
* Lead, support and develop the cluster sales executive to ensure optimal performance and achievement of business objectives.
* Manage and lead the inquiry process; ensure training and communication within the department and across the two hotels is implemented with maximum efficiency.
* Develop strong relationships with guests within the hotels.
* Be a self‑starter, organized and able to prioritise actions whilst managing tasks through to completion.
* Excellent communication skills in both verbal and oral are essential, as is confidence in presenting to senior decision‑makers in other businesses.
* Experience in a similar role would be beneficial as would a working knowledge of the hotel industry.
