Bricklayer
Newark, Full Time, Permanent
Up to £17.50 per hour
An exciting full-time opportunity has become available in Newark to work for a well-established construction company who are looking for a Bricklayer.
THE ROLE
As a Bricklayer, you will be site based at various locations within the region and will have the following responsibilities:
* Undertake the bricklaying tasks allocated, completing all tasks to a high standard.
* Maintain the cleanliness of working locations, and security of tools and machinery.
* Read and understand drawings to meet build requirements.
* Administration of Rinodeck System – safe working platform.
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal Bricklayer will be able to manage their workload without close supervision, as well as:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in bricklaying.
* Able to read and interpret technical drawings.
* Comfortable working at height.
* Outstanding knowledge of materials, methods and the tools involved in bricklaying and the construction of buildings.
* A strong knowledge and understanding of site Health & Safety.
* Must hold a valid CSCS.
* Due to the physical nature of this work a good degree of physical fitness is required.
