An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced full time DataQuality Administrator to join our team.
Main duties of the job
The Data QualityAdministrator role is pivotal in communicating the QOF/QiF/LES/DES practiceattainment for generating income promoting safety and maintaining quality forthe Practice by undertaking searches, audits and updating templates as requiredto ensure the accuracy of clinical coding to accurately capture QoF informationbut also for the accuracy of monthly claims for these services.
Issuingand monitoring patient invitations for monthly recall of Chronic DiseaseManagement by running the relevant reports and searches through SystmOne andArdens to make patient appointments via AccuRx, Text, telephone, email orpostal invitations.
Undertakingregular QOF/QiF checks to ensure any patients missed from the Long-TermConditions register are followed up with appointments ensuring that the correctClinical Coding and monitoring has been undertaken.
Scanning& filing of letters under the appropriate template and Clinical Coding of informationfrom the letters capturing appropriate information for QoF purposes, follow upany actions keeping clinicians and staff updated.
Closeworking with external bodies requiring audits and information.
Reportingback to the GPs, Clinicians and Practice Manager regarding the QOF/QiF position,patients attendance and correct clinical coding.
Transparencyand accuracy in monitoring claims and income.
This role includesdevelopment of new services as and when the contract or services change.

We are a larged friendly 19,000 patient list size GP Practice based in Mansfield within Mansfield Community Hospital. We currently have 6 Partners, 6 Salaried GPs, a well established Nursing & Non-clinical admin team. We currently have a CQC rating of Outstanding. Our building is spacious and modern with patient/staff car parking.
Job responsibilities
Issuing and monitoring patient invitations formonthly recall of Chronic Disease Management by running the relevant reportsand searches issuing appointments via AccuRx, Text or postal invitations
Undertaking regular QOF_QiF checks to ensurepatients that may have been missed from the Long-Term Conditions register arefollowed up with appointments with confirmation that the correct ClinicalCoding and monitoring has been undertaken
Clinical Coding or Template changes to followup any actions and keeping clinicians/staff updated
Workflow for Cytology reports and recalls
Child Immunisation reports and recall
QOF_QiF searches and Templates
Flu Clinic Management
LES/DES/Minor Surgery_LARC claims
Minor surgery audit (to ensure accuracy ofclaims)
CQRS
Organising & Facilitating the Annual Fluprogramme including searches, patient invitations and updating Templates
Diabetic eye screening validation of lists
Facilitation Admission Avoidance patientmonitoring recalls and searches
Clinical and non-clinical audit as required
Adding and developing appropriate templates
Child Immunisation quarterly report (in openExeter/PCSE)
Searches as required
Set up reports in SystmOne
Set up Protocols
Work together with teaching the basics ofclaims/searches with any new colleagues to the role
In addition to the primary responsibilities, the dataadministrator may be requested to:
Partake in audit as directed by the Cliniciansand Practice Manager
Partake in new clinicians/non-cliniciansoverviewing the role
Person Specification
Qualifications
* Experience using SystmOne & Ardens searches
* Understanding of data quality, clinical coding, recalls, patient Searches
* Confident written and verbal communication skills
* Experience running clinical searches & co-ordinating recall programmes
* Ability to manage workload independently and work with minimal supervision
* Previous experience in a GP practice or similar role
* Educated to GCSE level or equivalent preferably C or grade 4 or above
