Job Description:
A L500 ranked Renewable Energy department is seeking a Solicitor (2-6 PQE) to join a top-tier practice advising on significant Renewable Energy projects in the country.
If you're interested in a purpose-driven area of law with momentum and want to work with a team advising a broad range of Renewable Energy clients, this role offers the platform, training, and exposure to achieve that.
Role
Join a highly ranked L500 Renewable Energy department at a respected Scottish firm based in Glasgow. The team works with clients including developers, funders, investors, landowners, community bodies, and planning authorities across Scotland’s renewables sector.
The role involves advising on all phases of Renewable Energy Projects, drafting and negotiating agreements like exclusivity arrangements, options, leases, and conducting due diligence for investors and funders. You will also support clients in the renewable energy supply chain and advise on land and property matters related to energy infrastructure.
This position offers exposure to projects in onshore wind, hydro, solar, battery storage, and marine energy sectors, contributing to Scotland’s renewable electricity capacity.
The firm encourages lawyers to engage beyond legal work through attending industry events, contributing to publications, and building renewables sector relationships to develop their profile.
