Role:
Healthcare Solicitor – NHS Trust
Location:
Wiltshire – Hybrid/Remote
Contract Length:
3 months with potential for extension
Key Responsibilities:
Healthcare Advice
* Consent, capacity, data protection, Mental Health Act, regulatory issues.
* Adult and children's services.
* Manage High Court applications in-house for significant savings.
Disclosure Requests
* Support police and local authorities in childcare and criminal proceedings.
* Handle complex childcare matters at the South west regional centre for children.
Claims Management
* Manage Clinical Negligence & Third Party Claims under NHSR schemes.
* Work closely with clinicians to robustly defend Trust interests.
Inquests
* Support and represent staff at Coroner's Court.
* Liaise with local Coroners on a substantial inquest portfolio.
