We are recruiting on behalf of a growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) seeking a driven Account Manager or Junior Account Manager to join their team across multiple UK locations.
This role is ideal for someone with at least 1 year of experience in an Account Management role within the MSP sector, who is confident managing existing client relationships and generating new business.
You will play a key role in managing client accounts while actively identifying opportunities to expand the client base.
Key Responsibilities as an Account Manager:
* Act as the main point of contact for your assigned MSP clients
* Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with stakeholders
* Proactively resolve client issues and ensure service excellence
* Collaborate with technical teams to deliver seamless IT support
* Identify and close upselling opportunities and expand existing accounts
* Develop new business by building relationships with prospective clients
* Support onboarding of new clients and oversee contract renewals
Requirements as an Account Manager:
* Minimum 1 year of experience as an Account Manager within an MSP is essential
* Background in 1st and 2nd line support
* Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
* Comfortable selling to both new and existing clients
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent organisation and prioritisation abilities
* Confident working independently and collaboratively with technical teams
