Goole Academy is looking to appoint five Teaching Assistants Level 1 to join our academy in September 2025 on a part-time, permanent basis.

Your new role
As a Teaching Assistant Level 1, you will work under the direct instruction of teaching/senior staff, usually in a classroom with the teacher. You will support pupils to ensure they can access learning and provide general support to the teacher in managing pupils and the classroom.
Hours: 30 hours per week / Term Time only plus 5 days / Permanent
Working Pattern: Mon, Wed to Fri 08:15 to 14:30; Tuesdays 08:15 to 16:15

Your new school
Goole Academy serves a community with a rich industrial and maritime history. Located just off Junction 36 of the M62, many students live within walking distance. The academy is fed by 10 primary schools of varying sizes. Recently, there has been a significant increase in student numbers, with over 1300 children on roll from September 2024, up nearly 450 in four years. The school is increasingly popular in the area.
