Are you passionate about supporting young people with their education and development? We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant for a full-time position at a specialist SEMH school in the Chobham area.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a committed team within a supportive and structured environment, working with students who have additional educational needs.
Position
* Role: Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
* Location: Chobham, Surrey
* Contract Type: Full-Time (Term Time Only)
* Start Date: ASAP or negotiable for the right candidate
Responsibilities
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide tailored academic and emotional support to students with additional needs. Your role will involve one-to-one support, small group work, and helping to create a positive learning environment.
Person specification
* Previous experience supporting children or young people with additional or complex needs is highly desirable
* A calm, empathetic, and proactive approach
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Must have access to a vehicle and a full UK driving licence - the school is not easily accessible via public transport
* A valid Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
