Overview
Join AXA – Global Healthcare as a Senior Business Development Manager and play a pivotal role in shaping growth within the SME market. You’ll be responsible for building strong relationships, supporting our existing AGH portfolio, and identifying new business opportunities to drive expansion. You’ll contribute to managing SME and Individual Intermediary sales channels, helping to deliver tailored healthcare solutions that meet client needs worldwide.
Work arrangements: You’ll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, with the potential to move to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending office locations, visiting clients, or attending industry events.
What you’ll be doing
* Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within the intermediary channel for SME.
* Support and grow the existing AGH SME portfolio through strong relationship management and knowledge sharing.
* Develop and strengthen intermediary relationships, increasing their understanding of the AGH proposition.
* Provide regular updates on service improvements and collaborate with intermediaries to enhance their experience.
* Source, onboard, and develop new intermediaries to expand the portfolio.
* Support the Business Development team through coaching, upskilling, and joint initiatives.
* Work closely with the Account Management team to ensure timely renewal of existing AGH business.
* Collaborate with local partners and cross-functional teams globally to develop multi-tier relationships and secure portfolio growth.

What you’ll bring
* Proven track record in business development with a history of meeting targets.
* Strong understanding of the international health market, especially the Intermediated sector, and awareness of competitors.
* Excellent relationship and account management skills with the ability to develop existing client relationships.
* Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a dynamic environment.
* Customer-focused approach with strong negotiation, influencing, and collaboration skills across global teams.
* Commercial awareness with the ability to identify and capitalise on new opportunities.
* Excellent communication skills, including delivering presentations to diverse audiences at all levels.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office; adaptable to learning new systems; willing to travel internationally and within the UK as required.
