Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 plus local Productivity bonus

What You’ll Be Doing
* Preventative maintenance & electrical installations
* Fault finding & troubleshooting
* Working with cutting-edge equipment (PLCs, HV switchgear, electrical isolation, permitting – experience is a plus, not a must!)

Technical Responsibilities
* Provide expertise on EC&I systems, ensuring plant safety and system availability.
* Collaborate with mechanical and operations teams for maintenance planning.
* Support and manage projects to ensure high quality, cost-effectiveness, and service.
* Develop and manage the CMMS system for maintenance and operation.
* Participate in a 24/7 call-out rota.
* Manage EC&I contract requirements and day-to-day contractors.
* Oversee plant monitoring and machine protection systems.
* Diagnose and rectify faults in EC&I systems.
* Conduct minor installation and phased replacement work.
* Maintain and update plant control systems.
* Plan and deliver complex outages.
Health & Safety Responsibilities
* Ensure personal and team safety.
* Report all accidents, near misses, and incidents.
* Maintain electrical workshop and equipment.
* Shut down processes when risks to people, environment, or plant arise.
Qualifications
Don’t worry if you don’t have all these qualifications we can train you
* PLCs, HV switchgear, electrical isolation, and permitting - preferred not essential training given
* Strong understanding of plant processes, utilities, and safety regulations.
