This full-time, long-term Teaching Assistant role is based in EYFS, working with pupils in Nursery and Reception who are at a vital stage of early learning and development. As a Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils in play-based and structured learning sessions, contribute to phonics, communication, and early maths work, and provide vital support to those with speech and language needs, developmental delays, or other additional needs. Teaching Assistant - What You'll Be Doing: Supporting EYFS pupils as a Teaching Assistant in Nursery and Reception Delivering 1:1 and small group sessions Helping children access the EYFS curriculum through creative, sensory, and play-based learning Assisting children with speech, language, and communication needs Supporting classroom routines, snack times, outdoor learning, and toileting as needed Using phonics and early reading strategies Collaborating with teachers and SENCOs to track progress Creating a warm, nurturing learning environment as a Teaching AssistantTeaching Assistant - What We're Looking For: EYFS or KS1 experience in a school or nursery setting Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification preferred, but strong candidates with relevant qualifications or experience will be considered A caring, patient, and hands-on approach Understanding of the EYFS curriculum and early years milestones Confidence working with children with early developmental needs DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply) Full-time availability from SeptemberWhy Apply for this Teaching Assistant Role?
