OUR SERVICE AND THE PEOPLE WE SUPPORT
We are looking for a Support staff member with British Sign Language qualification to join the team in our new step-down service based in the Walsall area of West Midlands. The service supports 14 residents in total.
THE ROLE
This role includes support with day-to-day tasks in the home and in the community - supporting our residents in the mornings and accompanying them to activities in the afternoons. Assisting with getting ready in the morning, helping with shopping, cooking, or cleaning.
This is a great opportunity to build strong and positive relationships with adults, professionals, and their families, helping each of them find further independence and confidence throughout adulthood. You will engage in fun activities such as long walks, outdoor educational trips, and interactive, practical hands-on activities.
The job entails supporting adults in developing key skills and maintaining happiness and thriving in life.
