ABOUT THE ROLE
I am a 44-year-old gentleman living in my own home. I have cerebral palsy and require support to live my life to the full. I am looking for caring individuals to join my current support team. The successful candidate will assist with all aspects of daily living including personal care, medication administration, meal preparation and emotional support. A key part of the role is to support me to access the community and attend activities. I play Boccia every week and take part in competitions up and down the country. I also love going out with my partner, family and friends for meals and my PAs enable me to do this, including by playing Boccia with me.
About You
The ideal candidates will be calm, patient, reliable, have innovative ideas (without overpowering me), be flexible, non-judgmental and able to follow instructions.
Qualifications and requirements
* A full UK manual driving licence is essential.
* Applicants should be over the age of 25 for insurance purposes and feel comfortable driving a mobility adapted car.
