* Ensure the safety and well-being of all the children at all times.
* Supervise children, engaging with them in aspects of play and conversation.
* Plan and lead craft activities.
* Meet and greet parents.
* Develop quality play and activities, ensuring the engagement of all children, specific to their individual needs through a variety of play opportunities.
* Implement playworker principles and the EYFS statutory framework, and general childcare requirements.
* Monitor homework activities, where appropriate.
* Serving of prepared refreshments.
* Ensure understanding and appropriate implementation of all the School's policies and procedures. We would provide all the relevant training required; however, we do require the candidate to have good literacy and numeracy skills. The candidate should be motivated and enjoy working with children.
* Complete training associated with this role i.e. food hygiene and paediatric first aid course.
* Report any concerns e.g. health and safety, safeguarding or behaviour in accordance with the school's policies.

* Experience in childcare or education settings would be advantageous.
