A well-established engineering business operating one of the most significant marine facilities in the UK is looking for an experienced Project Planner to join an active team and support a busy programme of vessel projects. The role is available immediately on a 3-to-6-month fixed term basis, and for the right person theres a realistic possibility of something longer. What Youll Be Doing Youll build and maintain detailed project schedules in MS Project, translating vessel specifications into properly resourced plans and allocating labour, materials and equipment across live jobs. Day to day, youll be tracking progress, managing risks, producing S-curves, reports and planning documentation, and making sure all project stakeholders are kept informed. Theres also a commercial dimension, supporting bid planning and working alongside the commercial team on upcoming work. Its a broad remit with genuine visibility across the business. This isnt a back-office planning function. What you produce has a direct bearing on how projects are delivered.
