The Opportunity: Due to continued business growth, we are currently recruiting a GPR Processor to join our Subsurface Engineering Department. This role will focus on the post-processing and interpretation of Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) and other geophysical data collected in the field. It presents an excellent opportunity for someone looking to expand their experience within the utilities sector and thrive in the fast-paced geospatial industry. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Department and will be based out of our Birmingham or Manchester office, with the option for hybrid or remote working following the initial training period. What will I be doing in my new role? Processing Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) data. Processing CAD data Management of geophysical projects allocated to you by the Project Manager. Post processing of all geophysical survey data collected from site. Report writing on geophysical survey findings and recommendations. Provide schedule and progress reports to the Project Manager. Problem solving solutions to ensure deadlines are maintained. Ensure client work is delivered to the highest quality standards and any deviations are rectified with haste and learnings incorporated through after-action reviews. Ensure accuracy of all information that is reported on the Project Management system. Support innovation of workflows and technology. Any other duties as required by the business. Requirements of the role: Be fully familiar with field survey design and data acquisition using Ground Penetrating Radar. Have excellent data processing, interpretation, report writing and communications skills. The right to work in the UK. Background in surveying, engineering, or geomatics What key attributes do I need? Ability to work as part of a team or independently, follow instructions and be innovative. An organised and methodological approach to problem solving and decision-making, with proven problem-solving experience.
