We are working with a leading pharmaceutical research facility that supports drug discovery programs from Target ID through to clinical candidacy. As a part of the cell-biology & screening team, you will be responsible for running cell-based screening and compound profiling assays to support ongoing research programs, applying multiple cell-based assay techniques. You will also be responsible for analysing & interpreting data sets to support decisions on future experiments and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform a range of cell-based screening assays to advance drug discovery projects.
* Analyse and interpret experimental data, preparing clear and concise reports for project teams.
* Maintain accurate scientific records using electronic lab notebooks and internal databases.
* Present results to internal teams and external partners.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Min. BSc Biochemistry or related subject
* 1-3 years industry experience of executing cell-based screening assays for drug discovery
* Strong mammalian cell culture experience (adherent & suspension)
* Experience or knowledge of high-content imaging, flow cytometry, 3D culturing is highly advantageous
* Excellent data processing & communication skills
