I am a 6-year-old boy living in Pontarddulais. I am bouncy, happy, fizzy
and I am autistic. I love watching flags blowing in the wind and being
outside. I like to go to the park to play but I prefer small, enclosed
spaces. I love swimming and being in the water. I also love nothing more
than relaxing at home with a snack watching a movie. I am always on the
go, and I have lots and lots of energy! I love lots of cwtches.
Own car essential.
A happy, positive, bubbly personality.
Physically fit as I enjoy lots of active play.
Experience of working with autistic children and children with additional
needs.
Hours of work
5 hours a week double staffed on a Saturday morning.
Possibly more and the occasional evening, availability during school
holidays.

Tasks involved
• Take me to soft play
• Take me to the park
• Take me to see animals such as a farm etc
• Sit with me in the house, do painting, crafts, play with my toys, read
to me, help me with my speech and language via a communication
board.
• Sensory play.
• Water play - in warmer weather I enjoy going to an outdoor splash
park.
• Sit with me and watch a movie with snacks!
• Attend autism specific events, NAS Swansea etc
• I will require assistance with personal care.

activity or when I am anxious in a new environment

Concerning the position
You will be formally employed by the Direct Payment Client which
requires a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will
be necessary in the first instance in the form of a six-month probationary
period. Salary will be paid monthly with appropriate holiday pay
calculated.A DBS will need to be processed prior to any commencement
of employment. Costs are met by Swansea council.
