Are you a motivated and adaptable Teaching Assistant with experience supporting behaviour and ASD? We are currently seeking reliable Secondary Teaching Assistants to work across Caerphilly secondary schools, supporting pupils on both short-term and long-term assignments.
The Role
As a Secondary Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Support teachers in delivering lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Work with small groups or on a 1:1 basis, particularly supporting students with ASD and behavioural needs
* Help manage classroom behaviour and promote positive engagement
* Support students with Additional Learning Needs (ALN), including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH
* Assist in creating a structured, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

What We’re Looking For
* Experience working with young people, ideally within schools or SEN/ALN settings
* Proven experience supporting behaviour and/or ASD
* Strong communication and behaviour management skills
* A proactive, adaptable, and professional attitude
* Ability to travel to Caerphilly schools
* A genuine passion for supporting students and making a difference
