Overview
The Christie NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Finance Manager to support NHS finance and management across clinical divisions. We are looking for a candidate who is keen to start or to develop a career in NHS finance. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated CCAB/CIMA member, with a proven track record in effective financial management, strong management and communication skills, and excellent analytical, technical and IT skills from within the Public or Private sector. You will have the ability to work under pressure, manage multiple and conflicting deadlines, and have experience working in a diverse team.

Responsibilities
* The role provides high quality, accurate and timely financial management advice, monitoring and reporting services to a range of clinical and non-clinical divisions.
* You will be the lead Finance contact to Proton Beam Therapy, Medical Oncology and Clinical Oncology, and a key point of contact for budget holders and managers.
* The Finance Manager is accountable to the Network Division, managing a small team, and reporting into the Divisional Finance Manager, while working closely with other areas of the Finance Directorate.
* You will provide support and input to projects, business cases and service developments.
* We operate a hybrid office/home working arrangement with monthly site attendance for team days.
* As part of the Financial Management team, you will contribute to a dynamic, diverse and developmental environment and help strengthen inter-team relationships.
* The Finance Directorate promotes training and development, with a comprehensive finance education strategy and Level 3 accreditation in Towards Excellence and Future Focused Finance. We are active members of the Finance Skills Development (FSD) Network, Future Focused Finance and Towards Excellence schemes.
