Main duties of the job
As a Residential Care Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Care Supervisors to ensure high-quality personal care is delivered to residents. Your key responsibilities include coordinating resident assessments, supporting team development, ensuring compliance with medication management, and undertaking quality care spot checks. You will act as an advocate for residents, ensuring their wellbeing is prioritized. The ideal candidate will have at least NVQ Level 4 in Care or equivalent experience, a minimum of two years' experience in long-term care, and a comprehensive understanding of CQC Fundamental Standards.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Your focus as a Residential Care Manager will be to manage the group of Care Supervisors within the home ensuring that a high‑quality delivery of personal care is delivered to our residents. You will be an advocate for all residents, maintaining the best interest in all areas of the resident’s wellbeing.
Other responsibilities will include:
* Co‑ordinating the resident assessment process, ensuring that the planned care is accurate and reflected in each individual care plan.
* Supporting, guiding, and developing their team members.
* Managing the process of ensuring that all equipment is stored in line with the manufacturer’s instructions and is cleaned and stored appropriately after use.
* Ensuring compliance with the Safe Medication Management programme, with robust auditing procedures.
* Undertaking Quality Care Spot Checks reporting on the quality of care provided by Care Supervisors, Carers and Senior Carers within their team.
