Igloo is recruiting experienced Vehicle Technicians, Auto Electricians, and Accessory Fitters to join a well-established automotive operation in Sheerness.
This role involves fitting towbars, vehicle electrics, and accessories to new and used vehicles in a clean, organised workshop environment.
This opportunity is ideal for candidates currently or previously working in:
1. Main dealerships
2. Vehicle preparation centres (PDI)
3. Auto electrical roles
4. Vehicle conversion companies
5. Mechanical or accessory fitting roles
The Role – Vehicle Technician / Auto Electrician / Accessory Fitter
6. Towbar fitting and 13-pin electrical installation
7. Vehicle accessory installation (hardtops, covers, protection kits)
8. Light mechanical fitting work
9. Vehicle electrical connections and testing
10. Working to manufacturer and company quality standards
This is clean, structured work — no heavy engine rebuilds or diagnostics.
Requirements
11. Experience as a Vehicle Technician, Auto Electrician, PDI Technician, or Accessory Fitter
12. Experience with vehicle electrics, accessories, or mechanical fitting
13. Own tools
14. Full UK driving licence (max 6 points)
15. Reliable and able to work in a team environment
