Role –Junior Sous Chef Salary – £34,000 - £35,000 Tips – £150 per month Location – York Central Hours – 48 per week Venue – Busy Gastro Pub We’re looking for a passionate and ambitious Junior Sous Chef to join a fast-paced, high-volume gastro pub team. This opportunity is ideal for a Chef de Partie ready to step up into a Junior Sous Chef role. You’ll be joining a brigade of 6 chefs, serving up to 2 50 guests on a Sunny weekend, with a menu built around fresh, classic dishes and daily specials. All food is prepared in-house and led by an experienced Head Chef. You'll collaborate closely with the Head Chef & team to provide geat tasting fresh food, No winging it just hard mis en place and organisational skills with a fun team. A lot of the menu is done by their Executive Group Head Chef but each site has its own individuality of specials to create and have carte blanch over, so creative flare is encouraged.
