We are now seeking an experienced ConstructionProcurement Manager to join the team on this high-profile scheme. This is a large-scale, technically complex development currently in its delivery phase, offering a genuine opportunity to play a central role in shaping and driving design outcomes. This is a significant project, providing the opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of a landmark development within a dynamic and internationally experienced organisation. This position is offered on a fixed-term contract for a period of 24 months. The Role Reporting to the Deputy Project Director, you will lead and manage procurement activities across the project, ensuring cost efficiency, programme alignment, and the timely delivery of materials and services. You will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring that procurement operations support the successful delivery of the project. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement project-specific procurement strategies aligned with programme, budget, and operational objectives Lead and manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, tendering, bid evaluation, negotiation, and contract award Manage and support procurement teams, including buyers, expeditors, and logistics functions Establish and maintain an approved supplier list, including robust prequalification and performance monitoring Coordinate procurement schedules to ensure timely delivery in line with construction programmes Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors, defining scope, pricing, and contractual terms Monitor procurement performance, identifying risks, delays, and opportunities for cost savings Collaborate with project, design, and construction teams to ensure alignment between procurement and delivery Oversee logistics and supply chain operations, ensuring efficient material flow and inventory management Prepare and present procurement reports, including progress, supplier performance, and risk assessments Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, company procedures, and relevant UK regulations About You Experience 1015 years experience in procurement within construction or engineering projects. Proven experience managing procurement teams and complex supply chains. Strong background in subcontractor procurement, contract negotiation, and supplier management. Experience working on large-scale or complex construction projects.
