Overview
Casual Nursery Worker role at Grandir UK – Kiddi Caru Day Nursery, Walnut Tree, Milton Keynes. You’ll be working hard to care for, support, share a story or two, and have fun to meet the needs of our children.
Responsibilities
* Provide a positive practice model to ensure that Grandir UK values are maintained
* Ensure equality of access and opportunity for all staff, parents and children
* Supervise and support children at all times
* Contribute to maintaining an attractive and welcoming environment
* Prepare and supervise activities under the guidance of Level 3 qualified Practitioners
* Read, understand and implement all company policies, procedures and operational practices
* Ensure changes to policies, procedures and operational practices are adhered to within the required timescales
* Ensure that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage
* Notify your line manager of any concerns or issues regarding company policies, procedures and operational practices
* Maintain a positive attitude at all times with children, parents, visitors and colleagues
* Ensure confidentiality, where appropriate, is maintained
* Attend regular staff meetings, planning meetings and undertake training as required
Requirements and commitments
* Grandir UK is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people; an enhanced DBS check will be required for this role
