Senior Traffic Signals Design Engineer - United Kingdom (Remote)
Job Description
We're looking for an experienced engineer to lead the design of complex signalised junctions, pedestrian crossings, and intelligent traffic control systems across a range of high-profile infrastructure projects. This role offers a 50/50 split between home working and onsite presence, ideal for surveys, design validations, and stakeholder engagement.

What you’ll do: Senior Traffic Signals Design Engineer:
* Conduct on-site inspections, surveys, commissioning, and supervision.
* Prepare technical designs of complex signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings following approved procedures, including technical specifications.
* Provide technical oversight on new product or service ideas and plan development.
* Prepare complex MOVA Designs and MOVA Datasets.
* Maintain good knowledge of design standards such as TSRGD, DMRB, and the Traffic Signs Manual.
* Perform MOVA Validations of complex junctions and roundabouts.
Who you are:
The ideal candidate will have experience designing signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings, aiming to advance to a Senior Design Services Engineer role and bring fresh perspectives to existing solutions in traffic signal design.
Senior Traffic Signals Design Engineer Key Requirements:
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Keysignals, OSC Mapper, and AutoTURN software.
* Microsoft Office skills.
* Knowledge of TOPAS 2500A Traffic Signal Controller Specifications.
* Familiarity with MOVA Tools, Datasets, and Linking.
* Knowledge of LinSig 3.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
